The nearest beach to Aster Lodges is Dymchurch Beach, which is approximately 17 miles away.
It's a long, sandy, and family-friendly beach with a Blue Flag award. Other nearby options include Greatstone Beach and Camber Sands, both within a reasonable driving distance.
The seaside town of Whitstable is 23 miles away known for its fishing heritage, particularly its oysters. It's a popular destination with a charming harbour, pebbled beaches, and a mix of traditional and quirky shops. The town also boasts Whitstable Castle, Tankerton Beach, and a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a day trip or a longer visit.
Closer to home, there's loads of places to walk and enjoy the countryside. Well-known walks include King's Wood Circular, Egerton and Pluckley Circular, and Wye Downs and Wye Nature Reserve Circular, Hothfield Common Nature Reserve Circular is also a shorter option.
